I went into labor a month early with my first baby. I remember saying "But I haven't finished my Lamaze classes". He turned to me, smiled and said "No, but I see you've been finishing your dinners". Only Dr. Irwin could get away with that. He was exactly the kind of doctor that I wanted as a young, excited, soon-to-be mother. And seeing him for the second and third baby was just as important.
