Dr. Irwin was a wonderful doctor! One of my sons had the umbilical cord wrapped around his head 4 times. Dr. Irwin very calmly told my wife that he needed to move her to the OR. That son is now a PA working in an emergency room at a local hospital. Not only was he highly competent, he had a very soothing manner that helped the expectant mothers to relax. His research work was truly revolutionary and he was not afraid to challenge the medical establishment. His dedication and professionalism were always evident. Fortunately I did get the chance to thank him, he very humbly gave me a quiet smile.
