Condolence: Hello- I have just returned to work from and injury and found out that Grover had passed. Joanne said that he had asked for me when she last saw him.

Condolence: Grove's wife Ann and I go back to 3rd grade when we became good friends and buddies. Ann met Grove down at the Jersey shore and he would come up to Easton, Pa. where we lived. I was in their wedding and spent many a great weekend at their home in N.J. They moved to CT. and I moved to Glenview, Il. until Grove tracked me down after we had lost contact for several years. He was a great friend although I haven't seen them since 2008 when we visited them in Litchfield. He will be greatly missed by all.

Condolence From: Dan Sanftleben
Condolence: Grove, or "Cap" as his family sometimes called him, was a friend of mine for 70 years starting in Jr.High School.,when his family moved nearby to our house in Teaneck. After college we both took early signup for the Draft and spent 12 weeks in Ft. Dix. Then, he got sent to Europe in the Army and I want to Japan
After our tour was up in 2956 we met up again and went to the Jersey Shore where we met two girls that we later married..
I know he was a wonderful husband, father and friend to all. What a privilege is was to have been his friend. Dan Sanftleben, Vero Beach, Fl.
