Mary (Molloy) Michaels, 82, passed away on September 20, 2016 at Geer Nursing and Rehab. She was the wife of the late John Joseph Michaels. Mary was born on December 7, 1933 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Roger and Anna (Horan) Molloy.

Mary lived most of her life in Vernon and spent the past 11 years in the Litchfield area.

She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Orr and her husband Douglas of Litchfield, her son, Sean Michaels of California, her grandson, Colin Torrence, two step granddaughters; Sarah Doane and her husband Greg, and Melissa Orr, her brother, Roger Molloy and his wife Ann of Georgia, two sisters-in-law; Ann Molloy of Long Island and Carolyn Woodward of Canton and several beloved nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by a brother, Peter and two sisters; Anna and Teresa.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 4:00-6:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 10:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Rockville, CT at 1:00pm.
