Harwinton – Paul John Cooke, son of the late John and Cecelia (Seiser) Cooke passed away on August 4, 2018.

He grew up on Tyler Lake in Goshen and graduated from Wamogo RHS. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America. Paul served in the Army in Korea for three years. Upon returning to Torrington he became the owner of Central Seafood Market where he became “Fishman” to customers and friends.

He is survived by two sisters; Cathleen LeClair of Vermont and Mary Odell of Harwinton with whom he made his home. He is also survived by her beloved children; Mary Woolsey (Bill), Jean Plitt (Tyson) and Chuck Odell, his beloved “grand” kids; William, Alex, Mollie and Cecelia Woolsey, Jacob, Zachary and Morgan Plitt, and Emily Odell. They were the joy of his life. Paul is also survived by his lifelong good friend, Vinnie Battistoni.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT 06759. Burial will be private.
