Condolence From: Brent DiGiorgio
Condolence: Hi Dad, it's been a year since you left us and we miss you more with each passing day. I take comfort in knowing that both you and Mom are reunited in Heaven with no more responsibility and no more sickness. Ed and I are going to Antarctica next January and I am going to bring something of yours to bury in the water or snow so that you can also visit a place for which you had so much interest. God bless you Dad and God bless Mom. Well see you soon enough. Thanks so very much for everything you taught us and did for us! You are always in my heart and you and Mom are always on my mind. Love, your adoring son, Brent

Condolence From: Steve Taranko
Condolence: Hi Mark and Brent,
I am so very sorry about your dad's passing. Seeing him hustle after each and every ping pong ball and play with great enthusiasm and energy, I was sure he had more years coming. He was an inspiration to us all. We will miss him and his gracious good humor at the Y every Tuesday afternoon.
We will remember him and keep him our prayers.
Best regards,
Steve Taranko

Condolence From: Armen Arisian
Condolence: To the Di Giorgios I say that you come from good stock. I mourn with you. Sal was my Business Law professor at Mattatuck Community College for a couple classes long ago. I never aspired to use business law, I was going to be an actor. He was a big influence on me, so much so that I'm now a Human Resources professional. He lit that fire. His classes were not dry, but entertaining stand up routines that engaged the entire class. You had fun & walked out smarter. We got the benefit of his extensive work experience, but also got to know Bina - she was a part of every single class. Sometimes she'd be part of a hypothetical case ("Let's say my wife Bina...") and others he'd share a real life story. He can now work on some new Bina stories to share with us later. My regret today is that I did not thank him & tell him how much I appreciate his investment in my education, growth, and career. Like many of his generation, he did not mention his service in war. Thank you for that too. Rest in Peace sir. - Armen

Condolence: I only wish I had met Sal sooner but even an evening in his company was a memorable occasion. He was a charming man with a twinkle in his eye until the end. What a joy to have had him for so long and what a full and exciting life he lived. His dear son Brent will carry on in his footsteps spreading kindness and smiles the way his Dad did. After all, he learned from the best!

Condolence From: Mark
Condolence: Hi Dad, it's Mark. As I told you so many times, I love you so much. You were such an inspiration to me and taught me the importance of honesty, values, hard work and sacrifice. I miss you so much already an it has been only 24 hours. I'm so glad you're with Mom now in Heaven and have left all your worldly responsibilities behind. You were the absolute best father anyone could have. I loved your wisdom and your sound advice. Enjoy the endless days of ping-pong in eternity -- just go easy on them at first. Love always, your devoted and loving son Mark

Condolence From: Brent Di Giorgio
Condolence: Hi Dad,
It's only been a day, but I miss you terribly -- your warm smile, your superb, cogent advice, and, most of all, your enduring love. Please know you are and will always be in my heart and I know that mom is giving you a tour and showing you the ropes in Heaven. God bless you, dad. You were very kind, considerate and generous to those who were worthy of your friendship. Be well in Heaven!
Love, your devoted son, Brent
