George J. Ziemba, age 63, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at home in Goshen, CT after a long and courageous battle with cancer. George was a Business Information and Project Manager at the Aetna for over 28 years. He was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Litchfield, CT and a kind and generous man of many interests and talents including Lego and puzzle building, piano playing, boat piloting and extensive traveling around the world. He loved and delighted in life and lived it with courage, dignity, appreciation and laughter. George is survived by his wife Michele, his stepdaughter, Jennifer Veseskis, his stepson, James Veseskis, and his step-grandchildren, Richard, Kathryn, Sophia and Ethan Jones and Jordan and London Veseskis who will all miss him beyond words. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 29, at 11a.m. at St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Litchfield, Ct. followed by a luncheon reception at the Woodridge Lake Club House in Goshen, Ct.
