Condolences

Condolence From: Judy & Danny Czapor
Condolence: Jim, Janice & Jeff:
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Suzanne stopped by one day with Fran when they were on their way to the Farmers Market and she was so happy to see me after so many years! I will always remember her smile and her joking personality.

Condolence: Frances was my mother's friend when they lived on New Litchfield Steet in the big brown house. My parents, Bucky and Shirley, lived nearby on Broad Street. My brother Bob and I walked with Jim to Southwest School. Later, they moved to Goshen and my parents had a cottage at Tyler Lake, and so did a Zampaglione uncle, so we never lost touch. Young Jim had a speedboat there, much fun.

We worked together at Mack Cunnigham's Farm in the late 1950's, where the senior Baldwins were the Farm Managers. John and Emily(Baldwin)Karregato worked there, too. Mrs. Baldwin made us a real farmers lunch every day, often meat & mashed potatoes, bread, and corn. We all ate in her kitchen around the farm table. We had to be at the table at 12 noon, sharp, too.

Frances helped me get that job, it was one of the best jobs I ever had, and paid $5/day, Jim and I worked 9-3, haying. Mr. Macklin cut the hay, Johnny baled it, Jim and I loaded onto wagons and put it in the barn.

Shirley always stayed in touch with Frances, and after Shirl's stroke, we'd still stop by to see Frances on the way to Tyler Lake. The obit was right, we all sure had fun at the Zamp's.

I admire Jeff so much for being there for his grandmother in her later years. His loss of Libby was a loss for us all. Now Frances will keep her well.
