Obituary for Jeanne Echuk

Jeanne (Simeone) Echuk, 90, of Northfield, passed away at home on Sept. 11, 2015. The daughter of the late Vincent and Francis Simeone. She was born in New Haven on 6/24/25. She is survived by her husband, Donald, of 55 yrs, her daughter,Jeanne Donahue, of Southington, her son David, of Torrington, a brother Henry, of West Haven, two grandchildren, Debbie Weik and her husband, Rodney of Morris, Tracy Donahue, of Litchfield, 3 great grandchildren , Erica Donahue, Colby and Emma Weik and several nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by several sisters and brothers.

Her sole purpose in life was her devotion to her family. She will best be remembered for her simple ways, her sense of humor, her love of animals, and her unconditional love.
She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

The family is planning a private memorial in October. The Rowe Funeral Home at 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield, assisted with handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (Alz.org) .
