Condolence: I just happened to come across this memorial page all these years later and wanted to add my condolences and respect. Peg was another mother to me as well, as I spent so much time at the Irwins over the years. We would all laugh and Chet's jokes and nobody ever left that house hungry! I remember her candy bowls all over the house, and her frog collection. She was a sweet lady who endured some heavy kicks from life over the years, but still managed to greet each day with a smile. I miss stopping by to say hello over on Harris Road. Much love to the entire Irwin family, friends, and all who knew her.

Condolence: To Chet and Family: I am so, so very sorry to hear about Peggy. I am going to miss her and Chet shopping in Big Y. I loved to hear them talk and joke with each other. I also loved to look in their cart and see all the goodies they were buying for the grandchildren (or so they said.... It was AMAZING!! You could tell how much they were still in love with other and how much they especially loved their family! They were always smiling and laughing through their whole trip!!! And Peggy never forgot to ask how I was doing with my illness. Even tho she was tired and ailing, she never forgot other people. I will miss her so much!
