We will miss Barbara terribly as we miss Fred. They were such dear friends and such an integral part of our lives for so many years. Barbara was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people we know. Nancy, Kristen and Jennifer - she was so proud of you girls and her grandchildren - she loved you all dearly and we are so terribly sorry for the loss of your wonderful mom and dad. Jen and family,
Your mom was a special lady. I will think of her every year when we spread our 'reindeer dust.' My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Mrs. Fincken was my 5th grade teacher at HCS. To this day she was one of the most influential and memorable teachers that I have ever had. I'll always remember her playing the piano during class, and teaching us important values along the way.

Barbara was my oldest daughter 5th grade teacher and to this day I think she had the most impact on my daughters life. My daughter was very upset to hear of the lose of such a wonderful person. I myself would run into her occasionally at the grocery store and we would always exchange greetings and well wishes. Rest in peace my friend.

I was just thinking of Barbara, when one of the parents from our program explained that her son was having nightmares. I got out Barbara's book "Nite Nite Mares" to place in the classroom and share with the child's mother. I am so sorry for your loss.
