An angel on our shoulders, a fairy in our hearts

TORRINGTON - Alison Reed LePage, born on February 18, 1949 in New Britain, Connecticut, to the late Bertha Palin Reed and the late Harold M Reed, passed away at age 69 on September 28, 2018 in Torrington, Connecticut.

She graduated from Saint Joseph College (Connecticut) in 1999 as a Bachelor of Science and Torrington High School in 1968. She was a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist in the Skilled Nursing Facilities industry until retiring in 2011.

Alison was married to the late Arthur LePage. She was preceded in death by her father; Harold M. Reed, stepmother; Miriam Reed and stepbrothers Roy and George Bernard. Alison is survived by her son; Howard J Nodine Jr. (Ruth), daughter; Cindy Dillard (Troy), sisters; Tracy Molitor and Katherine Slink, stepsisters; Sylvia Cribbin, Celina Foster, and Almira Urda, grandchildren; Zoe Hokansson, Lea Hokansson, and Noah Hokansson, Conor Bartholomew, Peter Gourousis and Maher Alsakkaf and great-granddaughters; Alina Hokannsson, Moserat and Alison Nodine

Alison was an avid gardener and had many hobbies such as crafting, and country dancing. She served on the Altar Guild at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for many years.

Friends and family are welcome to attend the Celebration of Life, officiated by The Reverend Dr. G. Scott Cady, on Friday, October 5 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 837 Charles Street, Torrington, Connecticut, 06790. A reception in the church fellowship hall will follow the service.
