William Vincent Fogarty “Bill” passed away on September 5, 2018 in Litchfield, CT at the age of 70.

He was born on February 16, 1948 in Waterbury, CT the son of John Thomas Fogarty and Lucille Kenney. Bill grew up in Waterbury and was a graduate of Crosby Hill School. He was a veteran of the Connecticut National Guard.
While working his way through Sacred Heart College he started his own business, Record Info Inc., which he continued to run for over 40 years. He donated his time to the community by serving on Litchfield’s Planning and Zoning Committee, Recycling Committee, and was a proud past member of the Litchfield Lion’s Club. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, pets, and friends.

Bill is survived by his son, Sean Fogarty of Litchfield, CT and his sister Eleanor Schuermann of California. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Lucille, his brothers John and Stephen Fogarty, his sisters Mary and Lucille Fogarty, and his son Brian Fogarty of Litchfield, CT.

Friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life on October 26, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM at the East Litchfield Firehouse (365 E Litchfield Rd, Litchfield, CT). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org
