As yet another of the countless students whose lives Mr. Yanaway touched and shaped for the better, I am sending you my deepest condolences during this devastating time. As a student at Kenwood and beyond, I remember talking to Mark about faith and politics and education and the world, and he was a role model for me especially in his commitment to service, community, and family. His continued presence and support from afar was deeply meaningful to me, and I always looked forward to catching up in person someday. Remembering him, I am resolved to work harder and be more dedicated to justice and care. Anne, Abigail, and Henry, I am holding you in my heart.
