Litchfield - Lori Knox FitzGerald, 51, passed away on March 4, 2018 in Torrington, Connecticut. She was the wife of Tony FitzGerald. She was born on December 17, 1966 in Torrington to Anna J. Knox and the late Franklin J. Knox, Sr.

Lori worked for Litchfield Public works for 26 years and was a member of St. Anthony Church in Litchfield. She had a passion for helping others, embroidering, sewing and enjoyed maintaining her garden. She loved flowers and her dog, Hunter.

In addition to her husband, Tony, and her mother, Anna, Lori is survived by her son Sean FitzGerald, a sister Deb Sanford and her husband Keith, a brother Jim Knox and Chris Armbruster, nieces and nephews; Kim Hull and her husband Eddy, Dan Sanford and his wife Jessyka, Keith Sanford, John Knox, Kenny Knox and Mitchell Alibozak, and a great niece Olivia Sanford.

In addition to her father, Frank, Lori was predeceased by a sister Dianne and a brother Frank Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 9:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery, Blue Swamp Road, Litchfield. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4:00-7:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield, CT.
