Condolence From: Fr. Mike Aparo
Condolence: Ed, I met you once, briefly, through Joyce Aparo, sometime in 1974. I’m a friend of Fr. Henry Smolinski who told me about Eileen’s demise. My deepest condolences to you and your family. May she rest in peace and my your faith, family and friends be a source of comfort.

Condolence From: Michael McGurk
Condolence: My condolences to the entire family. Eileen was a mother figure to more young men than my good friend JVO, she kept all of us who were near on a short leash. A firm guiding hand you knew when you were in trouble but she would also give you a warm hug and a smile. I have fond memories of calling her to track down John and here the latest Litchfield stories. My prayers for her and the family she will be missed.

Condolence From: Joe D’Agostino
Condolence: My condolences to the entire Van Ormer - Burns family. I am so sorry to hear that Eileen passed recently. What a wonderful, successful and full life she had and I’m sure that you were the most important part of it. My memories of her are very warm, friendly and inviting. I am sorry that I won’t be able to make the services, but want to express my deepest sympathies to you. May she RIP. In spite of Eileen’s passing, I hope all is well with you and that our paths will cross again soon. Love, Joe
