Loving Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather
Litchfield - Francis John Barry, 89, passed away on November 20, 2017 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Barney) Barry. Francis was born on August 20, 1928 in Torrington, CT to the late Theodore and Theresa (Blazek) Barry.
Francis owned and operated Barry Construction for 55 years. He was the patriarch of his family and loved his daughter and grandchildren. He really enjoyed maintaining his lawn and family dinners on Sunday.
Francis is survived by his daughter Patricia Finn and her husband Donald, four grandsons; Joshua and his wife Meghan, Matthew, Shaun and his wife Melissa and Taylor and eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by three brothers; Theodore, Robert and James Barry and his sister Elizabeth Richardson.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, November 24, 2017 at 10:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield followed by a private burial in St. Anthony Cemetery. All family is welcome to attend.
