Bantam – Catherine (Deegan) MacLeod, 91, passed away on July 25, 2017 at her home in Bantam. She was the wife of Edward MacLeod of 70 years. She was born on April 22, 1926 in Waterbury, Connecticut, daughter of the late William and Malinda Deegan.
She was a member of the Sullivan Center in Torrington and Daughters of Isabella in Litchfield. Kay enjoyed many trips with the Morris Senior Center.
Besides her husband Edward she leaves two sons; Donald MacLeod and his wife Lynn of Torrington and Bruce MacLeod and his wife Carol of Northfield, five grandchildren; Shawn, Scot, Mackenzie, Michelle and Will MacLeod and six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Kevin and his wife Ann of CO and her brother William of SC.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bantam Volunteer Ambulance, P.O. Box 456, Bantam, CT 06750.
There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:30am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam, CT 06750. Burial will be private.
