Obituary for Theresa L. Bourque

Theresa L.  Bourque
Theresa was the fourth of seven children born in Manchester, NH to Romeo and Eugenie LaRochelle. She is predeceased by her husband George “Andy” Bourque. She is survived by sisters, Jackie Lessard and Sue Audy, brother, Robert LaRochelle, and nine children, Joanne Fitzimmons of TX, Ronald Bourque of CA, Eugene Bourque of Boquette, Panama, Janine Shailer of CT, Jean-Pierre Bourque of NH, Marie Peterson of CA, Bernard Bourque of CA, Rene Bourque of CA and Annette Boyd of FL. and their spouses. She leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Terry was active in her church choir and as a reader. She sang with the Sweet Adelines and was a seasoned actress and costumer with the Silver Stars acting troupe that performed regionally. Terry enjoyed her role as mother, but also worked as a Fuller Brush Lady, home health aide, and census taker. At eighty-four, she retired from Hannaford’s Supermarket in Goffstown, NH. Her favorite cause into which she put much of her time and effort was The Right To Life organization providing homemade baby quilts. Also, she donated baby clothing and furnishings to young mothers in need.
In 2010, Terry moved to Brandywine Assisted Living in Litchfield, CT to be near her daughter, Janine. Her family expresses their gratitude for the attention and love that staff gave Terry.
Services will be held in Manchester, New Hampshire.
