Obituary for Patricia A. Stanley
Patricia A. Stanley
Morris – Patricia A. Stanley, 76, passed away on April 21, 2017 at Rose Haven in Litchfield with her nieces by her side. She was born on February 12, 1941 in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Earl G. and Althea (Cook) Stanley.
Patricia attended James Morris School and graduated from Wamogo High School. In her early years she was a CNA, where she did private duty work, she worked as an animal rescuer and up until last May she worked at the Morris Library. Patricia had a deep love for animals; she was known to feed any animal that wandered onto her property, she also had a love for nature.
Patricia is survived by her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her five siblings; Earl H. Stanley, Roger Stanley, Richard Stanley, Helen Pinney and Marion Barnes.
The family would like to thank the nurses, aides and therapists at Rose Haven for their exceptional compassion and care they showed Patricia.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Morris Congregational Church, P.O. Box 63, Morris, CT 06763 or the Little Guild of Saint Francis, 285 Sharon-Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Morris Congregational Church, 9 East Street, Morris, CT 06763. There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
