Obituary for Barbara Patricia Vallely

Barbara Patricia Vallely, 70, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on June 5, 1946 to the late Thomas and Eileen (Marshall) Donaldson. She was their only child and the joy of their lives.
Those who knew Barbara best knew her as “Marmee” especially her children and growing crew of grandchildren. Marmee was happiest with the simple gifts of life. Attending Mass at St. Anthony’s, praying the Rosary, helping Brandon and coming home to the little ones in her life who loved her so much. We shall always remember her gentle way and loving patience.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 29, at 10:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery.
