ROBERT E. HART SR. (1930-2016)


Robert E. Hart Sr., 86, passed away with his family by his side, on Saturday, August 6th 2016 at Valerie Manor, Torrington.
He was the beloved husband of 63 years, to Betty (Rylander) Hart.
Mr. Hart was the son of the late Walter S. Hart Sr. and Lydia (Teichert) Hart of Torrington.
Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran. He loved the outdoors being in nature, landscaping, gardening, he also had a love for music and dancing.
Survivors in addition to his wife Betty, include a daughter Jeanne Colleoni, and her husband Bill, of Harwinton.
A brother David Hart and his wife Maureen, of Torrington. Six grandchildren and many great grandchildren, whom he all adored. He has several nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Hart Jr., a sister Connie Kopf, brothers Walter Hart Jr. and John Hart Sr.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the loving and caring staff at Valerie Manor.
There will be no calling hours, services will be private.
