Wayne R. “Arch” Archer, Jr., 59, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Torrington, on August 21, 1956 he was the beloved son of Wayne R. Archer Sr. and Barbara (Moody) Archer. Arch was a life member of the Bantam Fire Co. and had worked at various lumber yards over the years.

In addition to his parents of Bantam, he is survived by the love of his life, Nancy L. Chause and his brother, Lane Archer. He was predeceased by his brothers Kevin and Daniel.

The family would like to thank VNA Northwest and Hospice for their wonderful care.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Bantam Cemetery, Bantam Road, Bantam. Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Rd., Litchfield.
