Catherine A. Hull, 79, passed away on July 8, 2016 at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab. She was the loving wife of Richard A. Hull of 55 years. Catherine was born on August 25, 1936 in Bronx, New York to the late Louis and Nancy Picchione.

Catherine attended grammar school at P.S. 68 and High School at June Adams School in the Bronx. She was a seamstress in Morris, Connecticut for over 20 years, retiring in 2000. Catherine was a lifetime member of Girl Scouts. She enjoyed painting, knitting, crocheting, and hairdressing and dancing. She enjoyed spending time traveling with her husband in their motor home and spending time with her grandchildren. Catherine loved all things Disney, cooking, and making crafts. She was an avid volunteer with the Senior Center in Morris and Dori's Dance Studio helping with backdrops and costumes. Catherine was loved by all because she had so much love to give.

In addition to her husband Richard, she is survived by two daughters; Patricia Green and her husband Kevin of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, JoAnn M. Wray and her husband Edward (Doc) of Bantam, Connecticut, her son; Richard A. Hull, Jr. and his wife DeeAnn of Decatur, Alabama, fourteen grandchildren; Eric Lowney and his wife Amanda, Nicole Cyr and her husband Richard, Nicholas, Katelyn, Jennifer, Zachery and Samantha Hull, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Walter, Adeline and Elizabeth Daniels and Anthony Garrels, three great grandchildren; Ada Lowney, Liam and Lianey Cyr, two sisters; Genevieve Quigley and her husband Jimmy of Bristol, Rhode Island, Louise Heaton and her husband John of New Milford, Connecticut, two brothers; Butch Picchione of New Milford, Connecticut and Jimmy Picchione and his wife Jackie of Hawthorne, New York. She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Candy Picchione.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 4-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Grace Church, 715 Bantam Road, Bantam, CT 06750. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
