Obituary for James Clark Goslee

James Clark  Goslee
Bantam – James Clark Goslee, 79, passed away on April 28, 2016 at Rose Haven after a long illness. He was the husband of Carol (Hurd) Goslee of 54 years. Jim was born on September 20, 1936 in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Clark Stevenson and Louesa McHan Goslee.

Jim was a lifelong Bantam resident. His father and grandfather were both Dairy Farmers on Goslee Road, before school each morning Jim would milk the cows. He graduated from Oliver Wolcott Technical School and retired from Aerospace after 40 years of work. Jim served in the United States Air force and was also a member of the Bantam Volunteer Fire Department for 52 years.

In addition to his wife, Carol, he is survived by two sons; Clark Alan Goslee of Bantam and James Clark Goslee II of Virginia, two granddaughters; Sonya and Ana Goslee, two sisters; Marian Calhoun and Joan Woodington and two brothers; Franklin Goslee and Charles Goslee along with several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bantam Fire Company and Ambulance, P.O. Box 456, Bantam, CT 06750.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 4-7pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road. A service will begin at 7:00pm. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
