Obituary for Dennis Michael Rossi
Torrington - Dennis Michael Rossi, 55, passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2016. He was the son of the late Charles B. Rossi Sr. and Thalia “Peggy” Rossi. Dennis was born on February 27, 1961 and was raised and lived in Bantam.
He was self employed for many years with his home improvement business. As an avid outdoorsman he enjoyed fishing and hunting especially at Smokey Hollow Road, where he had lived for many years.
He is survived by his brother Charles and wife Jocelyn of Jacksonville Florida, his brother Roger of Torrington and twin sister Donna O’Neil and her husband Richard of Bethlehem and sisters; Christina Browne and Brenda Eaker both of Florida along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother and father, Dennis was predeceased by his brother Peter.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A funeral service will begin at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Bantam Cemetery, Bantam.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sunshine Fund, Borough of Bantam, P.O. Box 416, Bantam, CT 06750 or the American Legion, P.O. Box 441, Bantam, CT 06750.
