Condolence: Dr wilton was truly one of my favorites. I will miss him. He had a heart of gold. I remember when I had mentioned that I wanted llbeam backpacks for my kids but there always sold out and he came in a few weeks later and gave me two. It left me speechless. I wish I could have known him longer. Truly a great man. Take comfort in all the memories you have. Love. Sabrina lamere.

Condolence: In high school and college I worked at Crutch and MacDonald's drug store on the corner in Litchfield. Dr Wilton was a good friend of Bob Doyle, and would often stop in to see him and chat. He was a great guy. I remember one time that I noticed DO after his name, and asked Mr Doyle what that meant. He explained a little about osteopathic medicine to me, and while I didn't completely understand it, I knew enough about Dr Wilton to know that it was pretty cool. Sending love and light to the Wilton family.

Condolence: To the Wilton and Ianniruberto families we extend our deepest sympathies for your loss. Those of us that had a chance to get to know Dr. Bob are grateful for the opportunity to have known such a fine man, father, grandfather, and Patriot of our great nation. His generosity of time and spirit was felt by many here and he'll be missed.

Condolence: Dr Bob was a model father, a generous father-in-law and a fantastic grandfather. For me, he was also my "consigliere" -- which in the Italian community means "trusted adviser". He was always there to provide guidance and offer suggestions based on his years in healthcare and corporate life. He was also the world largest repository of questions!

Dr Bob was also my right-hand man on many of my household projects -- there to offer his skills as a laborer and as a physician. There was many a time that he had to patch me up -- famously putting 12 stitches in my chin over 20 years ago. Having witnessed several surgical cases since then, I have come to appreciate the precision and diligence of his medical skills and would challenge any plastic surgeon to have done better.

Dr Bob, you are a friend, a confidant, and ever the protector. Keep watch over us, and know that you will be greatly missed.
