Condolence From: Len & Marilyn Dube
Condolence: To the family and friends of Edward D. Zeiner, Sr., we were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Ed. He was an outstanding individual that dedicated his life to serving others in need.

As a Civil War re-enactor, he brought living history to life. I will display his Civil War uniform and dedicate a mannequin dressed in his honor within our military museum.

In closing, we note his distinctive accomplishments during his lifetime have brought great credit upon himself, his family, and his community. May he rest in peace. Gone but not forgotten ...

Condolence From: Ralph C. Langham
Condolence: I had the pleasure of knowing Ed thru our mutual hobby of Civil War Re-enacting and being together in the making of the movie "Elisha Stockwell Story". When I mailed him a copy of the DVD for that movie I called and he was quite happy to get it. We also discussed that we had another hobby that we shared, that being rocketry and if his health had improved, our plans were to have him come to the Danbury Airport where I teach rocketry to the 399th CAP Squadron. I will miss him as the gentleman that he was and the friend that we were. Ralph

Condolence From: Penny McEvoy
Condolence: To the Zeiner Family: Having lost my husband not so long ago I am all too familiar with the overwhelming sadness of losing someone we love. There are no words that wlll repair the hole in the fabric of our life. But I promise, if you hold steadfast in faith and allow yourself to feel the love and support of others you will find your way. Find gladness in that they suffer no more. They have made their way back home. Our hearts are sad but their joy is great. Of this I have no doubt. God's love and mine, Penny McEvoy
