Goldie Hubbard

Winsted - Goldie Hubbard, 95, passed away on February 1, 2018 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lester Hubbard. Goldie was born on February 27, 1922 in Bakerville, Connecticut to the late Charles and Theresa (Kolmanci) Pastor.

She worked at the Torrington Company and retired in 1987. Goldie enjoyed playing cards with her husband, Lester and dear friends almost every weekend in their younger days. She liked to garden and tend to her flowers. One of her favorite TV shows was Lawrence Welk. Goldie was a hard worker and a no nonsense kind of gal. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Goldie is survived by her son William Bezemek and his wife Wendy, three daughters; Gloria Bilodeau, Terry Massicotte and her husband John and Jane Serafini and her husband Jim, her brother William Pastor, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Goldie is predeceased by two sons; Tommy and David Bezemek, a son-law, Raymond Bilodeau, a brother, Ambrose Pastor and three sisters, Elizabeth Zukowski, Ethel Satanski and Helen DeVito.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 12:00pm at Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. Calling hours will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Torrington.
