Eva Foster, a resident of Seabury Retirement Community in Bloomfield, Connecticut, and formerly of Goshen, Connecticut, passed away on March 12th at the age of 90.

Eva was well known in both communities for her volunteer work and community involvement. Along with her husband, Len, who predeceased her, they were active with the Goshen Volunteer Fire Company, Goshen Community Care and Hospice, the Woodridge Lake Community, and the Town of Goshen. Prior to her retirement, Eva worked as a medical assistant and was also a Girl Scout troop leader when the family lived in New York.

Eva is survived by her daughters Sandra (and husband, Bill), Terri, and Barbara (and husband, Paul), grandchildren Kelly and fiancé Tim, Ryan and wife Desiree, and Brian and wife Alison, as well as two great grandchildren, Scarlett and Katherine. She was predeceased by her husband, Len, and her daughter, Jacqueline.

A memorial service will be held at Camp Cochipianee in Goshen at 10:30 AM on Sunday, April 10th. Contributions in Eva’s memory can be made to the Goshen Volunteer Fire Company or to Goshen Community Care & Hospice.
