Our Services

"We are dedicated to providing professional and compassionate care to all families

regardless of the type of service they choose"

We understand that what is considered a significant funeral service or life celebration is different for every family.  Our goal is to assist you in planning the services that best suits your needs because we believe strongly that a positive funeral and/or memorial experience is the beginning to a healthy grief process.

We are available to assist you with

  • Traditional Earth Burial
  • Cremation
  • Life Celebrations
  • Memorial Services
  • Graveside Services
  • Pre-Planning and/or Pre-Paying
  • Irrevocable Funeral Trusts for Title 19 purposes
  • Care for those that die away from home*

* With people retiring to warmer climates or spending much of the winter months in other parts of the country this is very common.  If you experience a death while away from home, contact our staff and we will make all of the necessary arrangements with a funeral home local to where the death occurred.  This will accomplish things most efficiently and cost effectively while minimizing phone calls and contacts on the part of the family.

"I have seen many people in counseling at the Center for Loss and Life Transition who, at the time of the death, thought it would be 'easier' to not have a funeral service.  They end up trying to go around their grief instead of through it - resulting in what I term, "living in the shadow of the ghosts of grief."

"I always say that when words are inadequate, have a ceremony! Funerals are not about closure, they are about a good beginning.  Blessed are those who mourn."

- Alan D. Wofelt, Pd.D., C.T.,

International and noted author,

educator and grief counselor
